Here are the two mixed media dolls that I've actually finished. I said I'd post them here, although I'm not sure if they're finished.
I'm not happy with Rosie's wings. and her dress is lacking the busy-ness that I'm fond of , still I think she's wonderful .
Her limbs were made with Apoxie Sculpt 4 Lb. White
and then decoupaged with green paper (don't ya love the Peter Pan feet!) The top part of her arms are buttons.
I adore this tiny doll, I wanted to give her wings too but I'm not sure what medium to use. Her legs were decoupaged with pages from an old almanac, she has a tulle skirt and her dress was from a shirt I no longer wear. (I love up-cycling)
I'd love to here your opinions on these, I'm still working on more but first I have to finish a jewelry piece that I started It was inspired by this:
a 4, 000 year old fossil turned cabochon I found at the flea market on Father's day!

I love Rosie. Her wings are great. Tiny is beautiful too, I just have a soft spot for wings.
I can't wait to see what you do with the cabachon. Great find!
